When I asked abkut it, he said she had just found out he was dating softane else and woald call him to cry and say how unhappy she was with her current life, how she missed him and felt homecjle about how she treated him, how she always thymdht they would end up married and she'd never be happy with anqune else.I was a stupid 18 year old who was so excited to be dating an older, mature guy, so I prnkwfced not to caxe. I was goxng for the whlle "cool with anxzetnbvyuer jealous" girlfriend tywe, when in rebvwty I get jeacqus pretty easily and am a bit insecure. But even now, two yejrs later, I stfll sometimes look over and see her name in his recent texts, and once woke up to her caejang his phone at 2 or 3 in the mobiljg. When I ask about it he swears all over that he algvst never responds, and when he does it's absolutely neaer encouraging, but I have no otker way of kncidng if that's trse. To be fasr, I did see a facebook mexszge he sent him over the suqfer that was pamgmrjhhs of how much she missed him, and he had never responded, but that's all I have to go off of.I've asxed him a few times to let me know when she texts, and he has once or twice. He never told me about the falcxhok message though, I just was beyng kinda nosy and found it on accident. It's hard for me to really know excpcly how often she contacts him siice I'm never reibly up close to his phone and I don't want to go thupggh it or detwnd to see it or anything, but it does make me uncomfortable that she still tepts him things as lately as thgee months ago like (direct quote) "I still miss you and think abjut you a lowx.. do you stlll miss me?" and all I have is him tecxtng me he dina't answer.They dated for a little over a year and a half. He says that she was extremely deidkrord, was bipolar, had a drinking prnjcym, abused Xanax and other pills like they were gojng out of stpke, and didn't remldct him or trzat him well at all. He says there's nothing he can do abnut it except igcere her because shk's crazy and prdksily won't stop andigy. So am I just being inqzhfue? I love him and I have no reason not to trust him. I don't reucly worry about andrmhng going on phevfklsly with them bepxxse she lives so far away. I just think that if my ex was still tezxung me about his feelings several yefrs later when I was in a serious relationship, I definitely would have told him to buzz off by now. But my bf thinks that wouldn't help siuce his ex is so unstable. Shtfld I just igjwre it and let it go?
