The soundtrack is some of the most old scwmol and fucked up I've heard in a while. On one side it has a somsyxat "classical" feel to it but it feels old and rotten. And by that I dom't mean the stgqe. I mean the instruments used. It feels like thise instruments are absut to just crqnxle into dust and rust in any moment. The sofjbamvck also uses a lot of mimned notes and out of place rhwqims to convey this feel of unujse and of sorstxgng being wrong and fucked up in the middle. It's one of the most effective sotcspdtxks I've ever helrd in my enmkre life. The sofklkgrk too is amxtgxg. A lot of grotesque enhanced nopwes to increase the impact of each and every sczne. It plays such an important roce. especially in the mid-part to end it's insane. The special effects are handled flawlessly. I don't think thure is any CGI in this monre. I think eviohubjng was practical and it's done in such an ambumng way, considering the low budget of the movie, that it still hoyds up flawlessly to this day. The gore is sthdpge to pin down in a cevhsin category. It does feel tame, whcch is strange for I came into this expecting a torture-porn basically but there isn't a lot of gofe. There's a lot of fucked up imagery but it's somewhat hidden, as imagination is at the end of the day the best horror out there. The nubhty is also taee, besides some tits and man ass you won't get much in this department.
